Vendredi 8 juin, Caféine, le “morning-show” à TQS recevait la visite de Christian Rochon et une brochette de GoBikes de toutes les couleurs. Il n'y manquait qu'un de couleur rose pour charmer Soeur Angèle qui a placé sa demande spéciale auprès de Christian... Anouk a, quant-à-elle, réclamé le vélo orange puisqu'il se coordonnait à son chandail... Guildor Roy, du haut de ses 6 pi. 3 po. ne semblait pas à l'étroit à l'essai-routier. “Pas de problème” de dire Christian qui en fait 6 pi. 4 po. lui-même... What a year!... I'll say it again, w-h-a-t a y-e-a-r!!!

2005 was one we will all remember. A year of ecstatic elation at winning so many design prizes (the list is longer than what's on my Xmas gift wish list...). Needless to say we are extremely proud to have our work recognized by so many prestigious International Organizations and by extension by world renowned peers that judged these awards.

We are also well aware of the expectations winning such awards convey to all of you that are either users, business partners or suppliers. We now have no choice but to measure-up in every way to the high standards such honours bestow to us. We humbly accept the challenge to live-up to this in 2006 and year's to come.

In the meantime, peace & solace to all of you and your families, and see you in on the other side of 2005.

On Tuesday November 29th, at a gala dinner, the Design Exchange (DX) announced the winners of this year’s National Post Design Exchange Awards. This national competition is open to professional designers across Canada working in a range of disciplines. The DX is Canada’s design center, whose mission is to educate Canadians about the value of design. The awards are presented in recognition of design excellence, and also acknowledge the significant role that design plays in business strategy. Both the design firm and their client are presented with an award acknowledging the importance of the business decision to invest in design in the early stages of a project. Award categories include architecture, industrial design, interior design, urban design, new media, visual communications, fashion design, engineering and landscape architecture.
