The Bicycle and Cyclotourism Show Expodium is the annual reference event awaited by all cyclists to find out novelties, trends and new cycling destinations. It has the most important cyclotourism exhibit in Canada. In 2006, over 18,000 passionate visitors from all over Quebec participated at the Show. This year, an exhibit attendance record of over 175 exhibitors will be on site to discuss and answer questions. The Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail is one of the world’s largest consumer marine exhibitions.  Dubbed “The World’s Greatest Boat Show”, the five-day event brings together the latest powerboats, engines, sail boats, electronics and marine accessories from more than 2,200 exhibitors. Why are we there? Because every boater recognizes the convenience of carrying a folding bike aboard any ship, big or small. Visitors will be able to test ride and purchase bikes on site.

What a year!... I'll say it again, w-h-a-t a y-e-a-r!!!

2005 was one we will all remember. A year of ecstatic elation at winning so many design prizes (the list is longer than what's on my Xmas gift wish list...). Needless to say we are extremely proud to have our work recognized by so many prestigious International Organizations and by extension by world renowned peers that judged these awards.

We are also well aware of the expectations winning such awards convey to all of you that are either users, business partners or suppliers. We now have no choice but to measure-up in every way to the high standards such honours bestow to us. We humbly accept the challenge to live-up to this in 2006 and year's to come.

On Tuesday November 29th, at a gala dinner, the Design Exchange (DX) announced the winners of this year’s National Post Design Exchange Awards. This national competition is open to professional designers across Canada working in a range of disciplines. The DX is Canada’s design center, whose mission is to educate Canadians about the value of design. The awards are presented in recognition of design excellence, and also acknowledge the significant role that design plays in business strategy. Both the design firm and their client are presented with an award acknowledging the importance of the business decision to invest in design in the early stages of a project. Award categories include architecture, industrial design, interior design, urban design, new media, visual communications, fashion design, engineering and landscape architecture.
